ADAMAWA STATE SOCIAL MEDIA ROUNDTABLE

The Adamawa State Social Media Roundtable in Yola highlighted the Fintiri administration’s dedication to empowering youth and women in governance.

Represented by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri encouraged social media influencers to leverage their platforms to foster peace, unity, and responsible communication. 

He emphasised that empowering young people is crucial for reducing social ills and fostering community development.  

Guest Speaker Yusuf Umar Mohammed from the American University of Nigeria emphasised the importance of ethical content creation and responsible journalism in fostering civic cohesion. 

As convener, I, Muhammad Bakari Tukur, urged influencers to craft content that bridges divides and showcases the achievements of the current administration. The event brought together journalists, media aides, bloggers, and social media creators from across the state.
